There exist web designers/developers who are never truly happy with their work. These designers take a step back, look at the finished product and think, “this is good, but I could make it better”. I’d have to admit that I’m one of those designers.
When I launched the current design for toasterdroid.com I was pleased that it was responsive, had a nice color scheme and I was putting to use gained knowledge of developing a CMS-based website. But I’ve learned even more since then and I’ve stood back, looking at my work long enough to know that it’s time – time to recreate the toasterdroid brand. But this time, I want to do it right; I don’t want to just develop a design in the browser and then fill it with content. I want it to be meaningful, truly useful and the best possible representation of what I’ve accomplished and look forward to accomplishing in the future.
So it’s decided! Time to roll up my sleeves and get to work…

After months of messing with colors, textures, layouts, coding and CSS – the redesign of the Bethel Coach Tours website is finally online! Since it’s first launch in 2000 (ish), the Bethel Coach Tours website has gone through many, many changes. This version however is the most drastic. Not only does it have a design unlike any before it, but it’s also built on WordPress and is fully (well, I still need some work here and there) responsive. This is the first time ever that cell phone users, tablet users and desktop users get to see and use the same exact content.
I’ve got a used iPhone 4s and am still struggling to get it to work here in Ecuador. Thankfully, I am recently seeing some light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the Evasi0n jailbreak. Jailbreaking my iPhone not only gives me the possibility to (finally) be able to use my iPhone as a phone (sheesh), but has also given me the ability to personalize my iPhone to my liking. It now has cool app icon effects, a fancy UI styling thanks to the Legacy theme and a few cool apps only available to jailbroken iPhone/iPod and iPad users, like MovieBox.
